Inside, the staircase becomes the focal point, built in Millennium limestone whose gentle gray and beige hues rise on thick treads beside a wrought iron rail, set into antique Barr limestone flooring. The main living space is anchored by a French Louis XV antique limestone mantel, its delicate carvings turned toward folding glass doors that open onto the hillside and the ocean. The kitchen closes the sequence in biblical limestone flooring, wide pavers shifting from earth toned grays to warmer creams beneath the carved island and range hood.
